Habitation Birloton |
 |
Habitation Birloton's farm is implanted along the National Parc's border in Guadeloupe Island.
The farm contributes to maintain and develop the biodiversity of the Caribbean coast.
Our activities are oriented to biodynamic agriculture: gardening on the nature's rythmes and respecting all living forms.
We do not use any chemical fertilizer or pesticide. Our lands are clean, no pollution has never been used on them.
Our poultry and pork are fed with bio vegetables created in the farm. So we can offer to our guests an healthy, local and flavorful food.
The electricity for the site is produced by a solar system.
Habitation Birloton is the only farm using the complete biodynamic method. The land is an ancient agriculture site initiated by the French colonists, during the XVII th century.
The volcanic ground is naturally rich, well exposed to the sun and tropical humidity. |

Our guesthouse is open with 3 rooms made by traditional carpenters with local hard woods.
The Habitation Birloton is also opened to art workers for they expose and share their works and knowledge. And when nature meets culture, the site becomes the
place to be at night for listening groups and dancing. |
